Herrera Consulting Solutions (HCS) is a small, female and minority owned consulting firm providing services to government health changemakers, Medicaid managed care organizations, providers, and other stakeholders working to advance Medicaid/CHIP, behavioral health, and publicly-funded health and human service systems.

Alexandra Herrera is a former state health policy leader, bringing over 15 years’ experience designing, implementing, and overseeing state Medicaid/CHIP programs. Since 2020, she has been providing consulting services across the United States and internationally. She specializes in behavioral health system transformation and Medicaid managed care procurement.
